Biography of Guy A. Youngblood

Ennis, Texas

Staff Sergeant, United States Army Air Corps; Entered the Air Corps in 1942, and trained in Colorado and Washington, and served in Africa, Italy, Sicily, England and France as a waist gunner and tail gunner on a bomber completing 50 missions over enemy territory; Died on November 10, 1944 in Beaumont, France where he was accidentally killed; Son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Youngblood of Ennis; Graduated Ennis High School; Listed on Southern Pacific R. R. Monument in Ennis; Awarded the Purple Heart Medal and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
