Seaman First Class, United States Navy; Entered the Navy in August of 1942, and trained in San Diego, California, and served at Gilbert Islands, Marshall Islands, Tarawa, Saipan and Leyte , seven major battles; Died in November of 1944 at Leyte; Son of Mrs. Gordon Peacock; Awarded Presidential Citation and Purple Heart Medal.
