Biography of Richard W. Love

Midlothian, Texas
Richard Love was a staff sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps. He joined the Air Corps in July of 1940. He trained at Randolph Air Force Base, fifteen miles northeast of San Antonio, Brooks Air Force Base, seven miles southeast of San Antonio, and Sheppard Air Force Base, just north of Wichita Falls. He died on November 24, 1943 in Del Rio, Texas.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Love of Fort Worth, and the spouse of Allene Jordan Love. He was reared in Midlothian, and buried in Midlothian Cemetery. He is listed on the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
