Private First Class, United States Army Air Corps; Entered Air Corp in December of 1941, and trained in California and Florida, and served in 3rd Observation Squadron at Keystone Army Airfield in Keystone Heights, Florida; Died on August 6, 1943 as the result of an automobile accident in Keystone Heights, Florida; Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Handley of Waxahachie; Husband of Jackie Morgan Handley; Attended Waxahachie schools; Buried in Waxahachie City Cemetery, Addition 2, Block 7 or 8; Listed on Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll.
