Private First Class, United States Army; Entered the Army and Engineers in July of 1943, and transferred to the Air Corps, and then returned to the Army and infantry, and trained in Louisiana, and served in 3rd Division of the 7th Army in the European Theater of war; Died on May 3, 1945 in Germany; Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Goodloe of Red Oak; Listed on Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll; Listed on Red Oak Monument; Awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medals.
