Biography of Bernice Warren Bradley

Milford, Texas
Bernice Bradley joined the U.S. Navy on December 20, 1942. He trained on the East Coast. He was traveling by train to the West Coast on the way to Camp Parks, California, and then to the Pacific, when he became ill and hospitalized at Fort Douglas, Utah. He died at Fort Douglas on March 24, 1943. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Bradley of Milford. He was buried in Milford Cemetery. He is listed on the Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll and Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
